LOFTREX-A™ melt blown polypropylene filter cartridges are manufactured from ultrafine polypropylene microfibers which are thermally bonded to provide particle retention at high differential pressures.
Each LOFTREX-A™ filter cartridge has four different density zones, each consisting of a graded pore structure. LOFTREX-A™ filter cartridges contain no adhesives and are constructed from FDA approved materials that satisfy USP Class VI biological tests for plastics. The polypropylene used for LOFTREX-A™ filter cartridges complies with the regulations of the FDA title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations Sections 174.5, 177.1520, and 177.1630, as applicable for food and beverage contact.
Due to their pure polypropylene construction and absolute rated retention, LOFTREX-A™ filter cartridges are used for filtration of chemicals, paint, ink, water, plating, pharmaceuticals, food & beverages, microelectronics and cosmetics. LOFTREX-A™ filter cartridges can be sterilized with an autoclave for 30 minutes at 250°F (121°C) and have absolute Beta 1000 (99.9%) retention.
